Those illustrations were made in the early stage of visual research. They were meant to be used on the walls inside the gyms. The design was based on a few references validated by the client where there were a lot of hand-drawn dynamic lines and free-flowing shapes. Besides the mix of photography and drawn shapes, I’ve also made a few propositions that were purely made of illustrations. They were meant to be used alongside the photos.
The client ultimately changed their art direction, but I still like how those illustrations turned out.
